Paris!

Ive always been a beach girl, through and through so Europe was very outside my comfort zone to say the least! We flew to Detroit and then it was 8 hours from there, so not terrible flight time. I just downloaded lots of movies and tv shows to keep me busy, and tried to catch up on some sleep! Our original hotel was about 30 minutes from downtown Paris so we actually decided to get one closer so we weren’t racking up Uber/Taxi fees. Most everyone in Paris walks or bikes everywhere, we even saw girls on their bikes with high heels on…Id be dead lol!

Loved seeing the Eiffel Tower both at night and during the day. Kind of sucks about a year ago they had to build a glass wall all the way around it for protection and security! But still so much bigger and beautiful in person!

We had a photographer take our pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower, he did such an amazing job! There are always so many people at the tower, so taking pics without people in the background is a task in itself!

Most of the cafe’s and restaurants have both French and English menus, and they have Uber in Paris so that made it easy for us to get around everywhere!

5 story Louis Vuitton Store

Paris has the 5 story Louis Vuitton, they have security and a line outside all day! Definitely fun to walk through!

This was basically what I drank the whole trip 😂 Coke light with lemon and a glass of wine!

We got to see a lot of the sights, we saw the arc de triumph! Visited the infamous fountains Place de la concorde which is featured in one of my favorite movies, The devil wears Prada! And we also want to the Louve!

Breakfast in Paris was probably my favorite, i had an omelette and bacon every morning! We would walk to Starbucks and then find a little cafe for breakfast!

We stayed at the Penta Hotel our last night and it was amazing, the bed was the size of two kind beds and had an amazing bar and restaurant downstairs!

So glad I could experience Europe for the first time, it was very beautiful and we had so much fun walking around and getting away for a while!

Self Tanner!

In high school and college I spent way too much time in a tanning bed, and now that I’m older I regret it! I’ve smartened up and have since learned to self tan at home and on occasion or for a special event I will go get a spray from Sun Tan City! I have probably tried ten to fifteen brands over the last few years and I keep coming back to these two brands! They’re both in the $40 range, and last me about 3 months! I spray about twice a week, and each one comes with a mit. They both instantly show color so you know if you’ve missed any spots, and the mit helps to ensure you aren’t splotchy! You can get the St Tropez from amazon, and the loving tan from Ulta! I just apply the self tanner at night after I’ve shaved and exfoliated and then rinse it off in the morning! If you guys have any other self tanners you’re loving make sure you share below!

Skin Care!

My mom taught me at a young age that skin care was so important! I started using her moisturizer and toner when i was probably in the 7th grade! Skin care has always been important to me, and the older I get the more I try and make it a priority! I think if you can invest time and money into anything for yourself as a woman it should be skin care! Just wanted to share some of my favorites and my current skin care routine.

Ive been using tula for about 3 years now, after another instagram friend recommended it. I started with their starter kit and quickly found my favorites! I use the face wash and day and night cream both morning and night. I got my first facial about 8 weeks ago and I was surprised when she told me my face was dry! I had always thought I had oily skin! I was exfoliating 3-4 times a week trying to get rid of my black heads, she told me to take that down to just one time a week. I added the vitamin e oil into my skin care at night, I mix it in with my moisturizer and its made a world of difference. My blackheads are gone and my pore size has decreased. I have always struggled with dark skin and dark circles around my eyes, and the vitamin e oil has helped with this too! I also recently added in a retinol once a week as well, the drunk elephant has been great! I learned the hard way that a little retinol goes a long way, so believe me when I say one time a week is plenty!

I use the vitamin c serum for ole heriksen every night after I received a sample in the mail! It gives my skin a great glow, and has really helped even out my skin tone! Tula recently came out with an eye cream that contains caffeine, I have only been using it for about a month. It can go on under or over the top of your makeup, it definitely helps with my tired eyes in the morning! I was watching a you tube video a couple weeks ago when I heard a blogger talk about how even after she showered and washed her face that she still had makeup on her face, so I bought these neutrogena wipes and she was right! I had so much makeup and dirt on my face still after washing my face in the shower, so now I added that step into my skin care routine as well! This is just what has been working for me! Skin care is something that I am super passionate about, so I am always looking into new things to try and keep my face and neck looking healthy!
